Weekend NBA Betting Lines Playoffs Preview

The NBA betting lines are hotting up as the post season starts off this weekend with 8 terrific matchups Saturday and Sunday.
Here's those Round 1 series and their NBA Betting lines at a glance:
NBA Playoff Picture for the East and West
EAST
Atlanta Hawks (-1,300) vs. Brooklyn Nets (+800).
The Hawks might have been the leading group in the East however this franchise has yet to prove it has exactly what it takes to win in the playoffs. Brooklyn punched its ticket to the playoffs with a 13-6 run however is there anything left in the tank.
Cleveland Cavaliers (-5,000) vs. Boston Celtics (+1,700).
LeBron James has never lost a first-round playoff series in his profession but could there be betting value with the Celtics as big underdogs? Boston was the very best underdog bet in the East, and took two wins over the Cavs at the end of the season.
Chicago Bulls (-700) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (+525).
The Bulls got healthy in the nick of time for the playoffs, with Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler back, but how will they hold up in the postseason grinder? Milwaukee could hold value in this first-round matchup, with a tough defense and deep bench.
Toronto Raptors (-190) vs. Washington Wizards (+161).
Toronto had a hard time in the 2nd half of the schedule and the health of Kyle Lowry is a major concern in this series. The Wizards will check the Raptors backcourt depth with the dynamic duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal.
WEST
Golden State Warriors (-5,000) vs. New Orleans Pelicans (+1,700).
The Warriors' scoring expertise needs to be enough to overwhelm New Orleans, playing at a much faster rate than their first round enemy. Nevertheless, Pelicans star Anthony Davis will exploit Golden State's weakness in the paint and on the boards.
Houston Rockets (-280) vs. Dallas Mavericks (+230).
This series will at the very least be entertaining, with two of the top 3-point offenses in the league squaring off. But do not blindly shoot for the Over when the Mavericks and Rockets meet up. They went Under in all four meetings this season.
L.a Clippers (+143) vs. San Antonio Spurs (-173).
This is the only playoff series in which the lower seed is really the favorite. And why not? We're talking about the defending NBA champs, who finished the period on a 21-4 streak. The Clippers did win the last two meetings, though.
Memphis Grizzlies (-180) vs. Portland Trail Blazers (+155).
It's the Grizzlies' dominant inside game against the Blazers' potent boundary shooting. Memphis tops the league in points in the paint, boasting the deepest frontcourt in the NBA. The Blazers can stretch those big guys with their touch from outside.
